TILE CITY COUNCIL Or THE CITY 01. PORT '1'OU'NSFNU, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1669, passed Id,arch 20,
1973, be and it is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. Commencing vitii the month of. August, 1973, medical
insurance premiums shall be paid, in addition to salary and other
compensation, for non -elective employees of the City and its various
departments and utilities."
Section 2. Section 2 of said ordinance No. 166E be and it is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2. For.the year 1973, such contributions shall not
exceed the sum of $35.26 per month for each such employee, but such
amounts may be changed by budgetary appropriation in subsequent years."
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the Mayor on gust 21, 1973.
