AN ORDINANCE RENAMING A PLATTED STREET AND ESTABLISHING
A NAME FOR THE FUTURR EXTENSION OF SAID STREET TO THE
NORTH TO~ BE NA~ED "CLIFF STREET" AND ESTABLISHING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE. THE SUBJECT STREET IS LOCATED IN THE
NATIONAL CITY ADDITION IN THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND NORTH
OF SIMS WAY AND A FUTURE EXTENSION OF SAID STREET IS
CURRENTLY BEING PROPOSED WITHIN THE UNPLATTED PROPERTY TO
THE NORTH. THE STREET WAS FO~Y REFERRED TO AS LA
SALLE STREET AND WAS ALSO KNOWN AS ALDER STREET AND CLIFF
STREET.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 3- That all of that portion of the street in
National City Addition lying between Blocks 1 and 2 and lying to
the north of Sims Way in the City of Port Townsend, and all
extensions of said street to the north be named Cliff Street.
Section.2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law,
and upon a certified copy being recorded with the Auditor for
Jefferson County, Washington.
Read for the first, ~ee~d and third times and passed by the
City Council of the Ci~ of_~o~ Townsend, and approved by the
