AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1994 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
PROGRAM TO INCLUDE THE ACQUISITION OF A
PREFABRICATED/MOBILE SERVICE BUILDING.
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
the City Council adopted a Capital Improvements Plan as part of the 1994 budget;
and
the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries requires that employees
who may come into contact with raw sewage have access to shower and laundry
facilities; and
there is a need for training facilities and a lunch room at the City shops; and
there is a need for an office facility for the approved Facility Superintendent
position; and
funding for this project was available in the 1993 budget, but the purchasing
process delayed this project until now;
NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR
SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
The Capital Improvements Plan containing in the 1994 budget for the City of Port
Townsend is hereby amended to provide funding in the amount of forty-six thousand dollars
($46,000) for purchase of a prefabricated/mobile service building.
This ordinance shall become effective five days after its passage and publication as
provided by law.
