AN ORDINANCE REZONING BLOCKS 211, 212, 218, 219,
ALONG WITH LOTS 3-6 OF BLOCK 193 AND LOTS 4 AND 5
AND THE SOUTHERN 40 FEET OF LOTS 3 AND 6 OF BLOCK
192 AND ABUTTING VACATED STREETS IN THE EISENBEIS
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND FROM R-1 AND
R-3 TO P-l; AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF
THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND; AND ESTABLISHING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, due hearings have been held and appropriate
Findings and Conclusions made as provided for by Ordinance No.
1625, as amended, of the City of Port Townsend, and
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Port Townsend has
approved of the rezoning of the property described below pursuant
to its Findings of Fact and Conclusions, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR
SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The official Zoning Map of the City of Port Townsend
is here and hereby amended to change from R-1 and R-3 to P-1
zoning those lands in Port Townsend described as followS:
The applicant requests to rezone Blocks 211, 212, 218,
219, along with Lots 3-6 of Block 193 and Lots 4 and 5
and the southern 40 feet of Lots 3 and 6 of Block 192
and abutting vacated streets in the Eisenbeis Addition
to the City of Port Townsend.
Section 2. The following conditions shall apply to any
development or grading on the above-referenced property and the

same shall be recorded with the Jefferson County Auditor and run
with the land as a condition of approval of the zoning change
made by this ordinance:
The uses established on the subject rezoned P-1 property
shall be limited to medical related offices or other
hospital related buildings. All future buildings and/or
expansions of the hospital shall be subject to a conditional
use permit and reviewed by the Planning Commission and City
Council.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law.

June, 1994.
