RESOLUTION 05-020
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD AND EXECUTE A
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH AIR EXCHANGE, INC
TO INSTALL A SOURCE POINT EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City desires an exhaust removal system in the newly rebuilt fire station
for the health and safety of the fire personnel; and
WHEREAS, the exhaust system was not included in the construction contract for the fire
station rebuild; and
WHEREAS, the addition of the exhaust system requires a public works construction
contract for the purchase and installation of the exhaust system; and
WHEREAS, the contract falls within the limits of the Small Works Roster process; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for the Source Point Exhaust
Removal System using the Small Works Roster procedures is Air Exchange, Inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend that the City Manager is hereby authorized to award and execute a Small
Works Roster Public Works Construction Contract for the Fire Hall Source Point Exhaust
Removal System project to Air Exchange, Inc.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this sixteenth day of May, 2005.
