AN ORDINANCE RENAMING A PLATTED STREET IN THE
NATIONAL CITY ADDITION IN THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND FORMERLY REFERRED TO AS LA SALLE,
ALSO KNOWN AS ALDER STREET TO "CLIFF STREET"
AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR
SESSION ASSEMBLED, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Whereas, the City Council had previously named the
street north of Sims Way "Cliff Street", for clarification, the
extension of the street south of Sims Way, shall also be named
"Cliff Street". The street is located in the National City
Addition and was formerly named La Salle; it has also been known as
Alder Street.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law,
and upon a certified copy being recorded with the Auditor for
Jefferson County, Washington.
Read for the first, second and th~rd times and passed by the
City Council of~e City of Port .,,~5~end, and approved by the
