AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2450 INCREASING THE
SALARY FOR THE POSITION OF RECREATION DIRECTOR,
ESTABLISHING A RATE OF PAY FOR THE POSITION OF
RECREATION INSTRUCTOR AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance 2450 is hereby amended to read as follows:
From and after FcSraary I, 1995, March 1, 1995, the salary for the
position of Recreation Director shall hereby be fixed not to exceed
$5-20:43 $1,200.00 per month.
Section 2. From and after March 1, 1995, the rate of pay for the position of
Recreation Instmctor~shall hereby be fixed not to e~c~eed $1~9,p~er hour.
Section 3. Any and all actions taken pursuant to the atithority of this ordinance
but prior to its passage are hereby ratified and confirmed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and
publication in the form and manner provided by law.
Read for the first time on April 3, 1995. Read for the second and thi~ times,
roved by the Mayor on /z[?/~'/Z- ~?-~, 1995.
