AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND REVISING AND
ESTABLISIHNG THE FEES FOR THE RECREATION AND SWIMMING
PROGRAMS, EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1996
WHEREAS, beginning January 1, 1995, the City agreed to take over the public
recreation program and management of the swimming pool, located at the Mountain View
Elementary School and owned by the Port Townsend School District; and
WHEREAS, following public City Council meetings, in order to defray City costs, the
City determines it necessary to establish and adjust the fees for the recreation programs for
1996,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, in regular session
hereby ordains as follows:
Section 1. From and after January 1, 1996, the following fees and charges are
established for the City Recreation Program:
Recreation Program Fees
(Per Participant)
After School $15.00
Summer Enrichment Camp I40.00
Coed Volleyball 15.00
Jogging & Conditioning 30.00
Youth Tennis 25.00
T-Bail 25.00
Section 2. From and after January
established for the City Swimming Program:
1, 1996, the following fees and charges are
Swimming Fees
(Per Participant)
Single use - Youth $2.00
20-Admission Pass - Youth 30.00
Single use - Adult 2.50
20-Admission Pass - Adult 40.00
Single use - Senior 2.00
20-Admission Pass - Senior 30.00
Single use - Kiddie 1.25
Section 3. The Parks, Recreation and Property Committee of the City Council is hereby
authorized to set special rates for the recreation and swimming programs for promotional
purposes. Such revisions of the above fees and charges shall be for limited periods of time only,
and need not be approved by the full Council.
This Ordinance shall take effect January 1, 1996, upon its approval and publication in
the form and manner required by law.

Port Townsend, Washington, at a regular mee~4th day of December, 1995.
