AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADOPTING 1997
PROPERTY TAX LEVIES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby levied upon all of the taxable property in the City of Port Townsend, for
the year of 1997, the sum of $1,091,264 as a general tax levy.
Section 2. There is here and hereby levied upon all of the taxable property in the City of Port
Townsend, for the year of 1997, the sum of $125,000 to support Emergency Medical Services.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval, and publication in the form
and manner provided by law.
Read for the first, second, and third times and passed by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof, held this Thirteenth day of November, 1996.
