RESOLUTION NO. 11-002
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT BOARD GRANT AGREEMENT FOR
SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION ON SHERIDAN STREET
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded a Transportation Improvement Board grant in
the amount of $110,000.00 for sidewalk construction on Sheridan Street(10th Street to SR20);
and
WHEREAS, this project has been identified on the adopted 6 year Transportation
Improvement Plan 2010-2016 and on the City 2011 CIP; and
WHEREAS, the City Council must authorize the City Manager to sign the TIB grant
agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows: to authorize the City Manager to sign a project funding agreement with the
Washington State Transportation Improvement Board to fund, in part, the Sheridan Street
Sidewalk project. _
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 3rd day of January 2011.
