AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A CLAIM AND PAYROLL FUND,
AND PROVIDING FOR MANAGEMENT THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is here and hereby established a "Claim and
Payroll Fund," which shall be the depository and disbursing source
for all claims for work and labor, and for payroll payments.
Section 2. Said Claim and payroll Fund shall receive all amounts
of funds budgeted for payrolls and work and labor, as said amounts
may be transferred ~rom the various departments of the City, pursuant
to budgetary authorization, and shall be disbursed from said fund
only for the purposes set forth by the budgets of the departments
from which said funds are transferred.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the Mayor o~J~nuary 15, 1974.
