AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1701
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TttE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR
SESSION DO, ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1701, passed and
approved January 15, 1974, is amended to read-as follows:
"Section 1. There are here and hereby established a claim
fund and a payr.oll fund. Said payroll fund shall receive all
amounts appropriated for payroll purposes, as said amounts may be
transferred from various departments of the City, pursuant to
budgetary authorization, and shall be disbursed from said fund
only for the purposes and in amounts set forth by the budgets of
the departments from which the funds are transferred, and said
claim fund shall receive from each departments amounts sufficient
to satisfy claims against such departments, and shall be disbursed
from said fund only for the purposes and in the amounts set forth
in the budgets for said departments from which the funds are
transferred.
Section 2. Section 2 of Ordinance 1701 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. Section 3 of Ordinance 1701 is amended to read as
follows:
"Section 2.
1974."
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the Mayor on May 27, 19~7~.
