AN ORDINANCE SETTING AND PROVIDING SPEED LIMITS
FOR VEHICLES ON SIMS WAY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH~ CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
A~SEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The driving or moving of any vehicle on State
Highway No. 20 , commonly known as Sims Way, between the Western
boundary of the corporate limits of the City and the Western
boundary of Prosper Street in the City, at a speed in excess of
thirty-five miles per hou~ is prohibited.
Section 2. The driving or moving of any vehicle on State
Highway No. 20 , commonly known as Sims Way, between the Western
boundary of Prosper Street and the Eastern boundary of Quincy
Street in the City, at a speed in excess of twenty-five miles per
hour~ is prohibited.
Section 3. This ordinance s~all take effect upon its passage
and approval, and publication in the manner required by law, and
subject to approval by the Washington State Highway Commission.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the Mayor on June 18, 1974.
