Home My WebLink About1717 Expanding Commercial Zones ORDINANCE NO. ~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY, TO EXPAND COMMERCIAL ZONES IN THE UPTOWN AND HILLTOP DISTRICTS, AND IN THE PORT DISTRICT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. After due notice given, and proper hearing had, the official zoning map of the City is amended as follows, to-wit: (a) That portion of Block 33 of the Railroad Addition, lying South of Sims Way, is hereby zoned C-II. (b) That~area described as: commencing and the intersection of Lawrence and .T~=, thence East on Lawrence to the center of Taylor Street, thence North one-half block, thence West parallel to Lawrence Street to the center of Fillmore Street, thence South on Fillmore Street to Lawrence Street, thence West on Lawrence to Van Buren Street, thence South on Van Buren one-half block, thence East to Polk Street, thence South off Polk Street to Clay Street, thence East on Clay S~reet to Tyler, thence North to the point of beginning, is hereby zoned C-III. (c) Block 93 of the Original Townsite is hereby zoned P-I. (d) That area described as: Commencing at the in£ersection of Sims Way and Sheridan Avenue, thence North to 6th Street, thence West on 6th Street to Hendricks Street, thence North on Hendricks Street to 7th Street, thence West on 7th to Hancock Street, thence South on Hancock to the North boundary of 6th Street, thence West along the extended north boundary of 6th Street to the power line right of way, thence Southwest along the power line right of way to 3rd Street, thence East on 3rd Street to McPherson Street, thence North on McPherson Street to a point 200 feet South of Sims Way, thence in a generally Easterly direction along a line 200 feet South of and parallel to Sims Way to Hendricks Street, thence North on Hendricks Street to Sims Way, thence to the point of beginning, is he~ebsr ............
