AN.ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $31,200.00 OF FED-
ERAL SHARED REVENUE FUNDS FOR THE YEAR 1974;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESS-
ION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. For the purpose of distributing Federal Shared
Revenue Funds in the 1974 budget of the City, said funds are here
and hereby allocated and appropriated as follOws: For additional
payment on new fire truck, $9,000.00; For Plectron radios for
Fire Department, $4,000.00; For litter cans, $4,000.00; For street
signs, $5,200.00; To the police budget to cover cost of moving
police station, as detailed in Ordinance No./_~/~ , $4,650.00;
and for an animal control van,~'$5,000~00.
Section 2. There is here and hereby found and declared
to be and emergency requiring the foregoing approproations.
~ction 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.
Read for the first time August 6, 1974. Read for the second
and third imes, passed by the Council and approved by'the Mayor
on August 20, 1974.
