CITY GOVERNMENT, THE WATER-SEWER DEPARTMENT, THE EQUIPMENT
RENTAL DEPARTMENT AND FEDERAL SHARED REVENUE FOR THE YEAR
1975.
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, in regular session
assembled, do ordain as follows:
Section 1. Appropriation for the 1975 budget is hereby made for
the General City Government for the year 1975, for the purposes and in the
amounts hereinafter set forth: For current expense, $422,125; for public
library, $33,123; for City parks, $14,449; for city streets and the City
Street Department, $125,868; for Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund, $61,849;
for 1955 general obligation bonds, $5,072; for the Cumulative Reserve Fund,
$31,160; for the Arterial Street Fund, $43,000.
Section 2. Appropriation is hereby made for the 1975 budget of
the Water-Sewer Department as follows: For the Water Department, the sum of
'$146,255; for the Sewer Department, the sum of $139,572; for the Water Main
Revolving Fund, $8,664.
Section 3. Appropriation is hereby made for the 1975 budget of
the Equipment Rental Fund in the sum of $91,356.
Section 4. Appropriation is hereby made for the 1975 expenditures
under the Federal Shared Revenue Fund in the sum of $75,280.
Section 5. The preceding four sections hereof are hereby fixed
and adopted as the budget of the City of Port Townsend and its various utili-
ties for the year 1975.
section 6. Th~s ordinance shall take effect on its passage, ap-
proval and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the Council
and approved by the Mayor December 17, 1974.
