AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,000 TO THE GARBAGE
COLLECTION SERVICE, $~,000 TO LIBRARY, $5155 TO
CURRENT EXPENSE, AND $6,900 TO WATER-SEWER DEPARTMENT,
ALL FOR THE 1974 BUDGET, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY C~UNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. In ~pplement to the 1974 budget of the City of Port
Townsehd, the following appropriations are here and hereby provided
and made:
(a) For the Garbage Collection Service:
Salaries, temporary and hourly ....... $3,000.00
Equipment, repair and maintenanG~ ...$4,000.00
(b) Library: Wages and hourly ............. $1,000.00
(c) Current Expense: Police, Salaries ...... $5,155.00
(d)
Water-Sewer Department:
Engineering, 5 year comprehensive plan, %5,400.00
Water line repair supplies ........... $1,500.00
Section 2. There is here and hereby found and declared to be an
emergency requiring the above and foregoing appropriations.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.
Read for the first time December 17, 1974. Read for the second
and third times, passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on
January 7, 1975.
