ORDINANCE NO. 1745
AN ORDINANCE VACATING 21st STREET BETWEEN HAINES AND
~B~T!'.:JUAN, ROSE STREET FROM S TO T STREETS, THE ALLEY
iN BLOCK 27 OF O.C. HASTINGS ADDITION, AND RESERVING
EASEMENTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following portions of streets and alleys in t2ae
City ~f Port Townsend, subject to reserved easements, are here and
hereby vacated:
(1)
That portion of 21st Street from Haines to McNeill
Streets and from McNeill Street to San Juan Avenue~
(2) That portion of Rose Street lying between S Street
and T Street; and
(3) The alley lying in Block 27 of O.C. Hastings Addition,
between 24th Street and acreage to the North.
Section 2. In all of th~ streets and alleys hereinabove mentioned,
there is here and hereby ~a~ed an.'~ easement for the installation
and maintenance of water, sewer and other utility lines.
Section 3. This ordinance shall t~ effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.
Read for the first, second and third-~imes, passed by the Council
and approved by the Mayor on November 18,./1975.
