A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILINH OF AN
APPLICATION WITH THE ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE AUTHORITY
OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON FOR A GRANT UNDER
PUBLIC WORKS IMPACT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the State of Washington has authorized the making
of grants to public bodies to aid in the financing of construction of
specific public projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Port Townsend: ~
1. That the Mayor of Port Townsend be and he is hereby
authorized to execute and file on behalf of the City of Port Townsend,
Washington, with the Economic Assistance Authority of the State of
Washington for a grant to aid in the financing of a sewer extension
project in the area generally lying between Kai Tai Lagoon and Port
Townsend Bay, and Kearney Street and Hill Street in the City of POrt
Townsend.
2. That Joseph B. Steve, Mayor of the City of Port Townsend,
is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information as the
Economic AssiStance Authority of the State of Washington may reasonably
request in conneciton with the application which is herein authorized
to be filed.
