A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT
IN BEHALF OF THE CITY FOR YOUTH RECREATION SERVICES
AND FACILITIES TO BE PROVIDED BY PORT TOWNSEND SCHOOL
DISTRICT NUMBER
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
That, commencing with the year 1973, the Mayor be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to enter into, in behalf of the City
of Port Townsend, a contractual agreement by the terms of which Port
Townsend School District Number 50, shall provide services and
facilities for a youth recreation program for the youthful citizens
of the City of Port Townsend, in order to provide for the health,
morals and safety, and in promotion of the protection of the health,
welfare and safety of the.general citizenry of the citizens of the
City of Port T~nsend, and to pay for said services and facilities
such sum or sums as may from tLme to time be provided by budgetary
appropriation of the City C°uncil.
