A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY COUNCILMEN TO
SERVE AS VOLUNTEER FIREMEN ON THE CITY FIRE
DEPARTMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL, IN REGULAR SESSION, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. Any member of the City Council is here and hereby
authorized to serve as a volunteer firefighter in the City of
Port Townsend Fire Department, and to receive the same compensation
and benefits as are applicable to other volunteer firemen, and
to likewise receive all of the compensation and benefits accorded
to other City COuncilmen.
Section 2. This resolution is passed pursuant to Chapter 60,
Laws of 1974, 1st Extraordinary Session.
