A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING !WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETE
~ITH FUNDS FROm THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPmENT~ADmINISTRATION.
~HEREAS, the City of Port Townsend did accept a combination grant and loan from
the Economic Development Administration to make improvements to the Olympic
Gravity ~ater System for the purpose of conserving mater, and,
WHEREAS, the City has ~ull~ compensated the contractors for the ourchase and
installation of water meters and the construction of a water filtration plant~
and,
!~HEREAS, any failure to pass final inspection after completion of the 1 million
gallon reservoir is the responsibility of the contractors being secured by
performance bond at no further expense to the City~ now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND:
Section I. The City Council does hereby accept as part of the Olympic
Grevity Water System, the water meters and filtration plant constructed with
funds from the Economic Development Administration.
