A RESOLUTION !N SUPPORT OF THE 1979 PORT TO~I;NSEND
~TRI~T EXCESS LEVY.
SCHOOL DI~ ~
~IHEREAS, the future welfare of the City is dependent upon an educated
and enlightened citizenry~ and
iI!HEREAS, the Port Tomnsend School District is in need of funds in excess
of its regularly authorized tax levy to fully provide a quality education
program in the year 1980, and
!~IHERE~S, Port Tomnsend School District is submitting for public approval
an excess levy to/CcC~ollected in the year t980, nom~ therefore, be it resolved,
That the City Council of the City of Port TouJnsend here and hereby
expresses its approval of the 1979 excess levy requested by Port Tomnsend
School District No. 50, a~qd urges voter approval thereof.
