A RESOLUTION COMMENDING ANDREW NISBETT, BRAD
OWEN, AND ANDREW PALMER.
Whereas, it has been established that the Northern Tier Pipeline is not in the
best interests of 'this community, and,
Whereas, the interests of this community and the Puget Sound area were skillfully
and articulately defended in the State Legislature by State Representives
Andrew Nisbett and Brad Owen and lobbyist Andrew Palmer of Port Townsend,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the City Council of Port Townsend, on this 18th day
of March, 1980, does hereby commend and express its deepest gratitude to
the above mentioned for their courageous and dedicated efforts in opposing
the grant of emminent domain to the Northern Tier Pipeline Company of
Delaware.
