A RESOLUTION FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REIMBURSEMENT
FOR AUTOMOBILE TRAVEL BY CITY OFFICERS AND
EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, fuel costs and other costs of automobile
travel have increased greatly in recent time_' and
WHEREAS, it is' apparent that reimbursement rates
that have been appropriate for automobile travel in past
years are no longer fair, it is, therefore,
RESOLVED that reimbursement for use of private
automobiles in the performance of authorized City business,
and for purposes where a budget has been provided for
travel expense, is here and hereby fixed at the rate of
twenty cents for each mile of travel in said automobile.
