A RESOLUTION FIXING FEES FOR AMBULANCE OR
AID CAR SERVICE
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend, by reason of the
termination of other ambulance service, has been 'compelled
to enter into transport of ill and injured persons, and
WHEREAS, the cost of such transport is a burden upon
City finances, and in particular upon the budget for
emergency services, and
WHRREAS, it is found that the sum of $50.00 per call
is a reasonable charge for ambulance or aid car services,
consistent with the costs of operation of such service, now,
there f.ore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, in regular session assembled, that a charge or fee of
$50.00 shall be charged and collected for each call made by
a City ambulance or aid car, which amount shall be credited
to the general fund.
