A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE FOR A PARK, AND TO
DISBURSE FUNDS AS PAYMENT OF THE RENTAL THEREFOR
WHEREAS, a lease for certain lands owned by the Port of
Port Townsend on the South boundary of Kah-Tai Lagoon has been
negotiated, and the lands therein embraced have been incorp-
orated into the comprehensive park plan of the City and the
perimeter park plan for Kah-Tai Lagoon, now, therefor,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized
to enter into a lease of lands owned by the Port of Port
Townsend including a ten foot perimeter strip and a portion of
the bottom of Kah-Tai Lagoon in the City of Port Townsend, for
a term of thirty years at a total rental of $100.00~, and the
Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to draw and
issue a warrant for the payment of such rent from funds
appropriated for such purposes in the 1980 budget of the City.
