A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZINGMAYOR MC CLURE
TO SIGN A WAIVER GIVING ROBERT HAGGARD
CONSENT TO SELL AND CONVEY CERTAIN PROPERTY
The ~Port Townsend City Council in regular session assembled, do
resolve~:
Section 1. That Mayor Barney be authorized to sign the waiver
marked exhibit "A" attached hereto as though fully setforth herein.
Passed this 3rd day of February, 1981.

WAIVER
WE THE UNDERSIGNED, do hereby waive any and all rights,
as stated in paragraph six of the agreement made and entered
into this 9th day of February, 1977, by and between the STATE
OF WASHINGTON, through its State Parks and Recreation Com-
mission, hereinafter called "State"; and ROBERT ~HAGGARD, a
private individual, hereinafter called "the owner"; and
the City of Port Townsend, a governmental entity by and
through its City Council, hereinafter called "the City";
to purchase Lot 3, EXCEPT the Southwesterly 4 feet thereof
and an undivided 1/2 interest in the Southwesterly 4 feet
of Lot 3, all in Block 43, Original Townsite of Port Townsend,
as per plat recorded in Volume 1 of Plats, page 1 records of
Jefferson County, Washington.
BY SIGNING this waiver, the undersigned is giving written
consent to ROBERT HAGGARD to sell and convey said premises
and releases any and all rights of the State and the City
to purchase same.
