A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THAT CERTAIN STREETS
IN THE RAILROAD ADDITION AND EISENBEIS
ADDITION ARE NOT OPEN TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
WHEREAS, it appears that a certain amount of use is being
made by vehicles of unopened City streets in the Railroad and
Eisenbeis Additions lying between Lawrence Street and Sims Way,
and Southerly of Kah-Tai Lagoon. and
WHEREAS, it is deemed dangerous~ to such vehicle operators
and to the general public that such use off.proved fa¢ilites is
made~ and
WHEREAS, ~oDe~ owners in the vicinity have advised the
City that they do not consent to the use of their property for
vehicular traffic, NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, at a regular meeting thereof, that
Those unopened streets lying Southerly of Kah Tai Lagoon
and Northerly of Sims Way in the Railroad and Eisenbeis Additions
to the City shall, by appropriate means, be closed to vehicular
traffic of all kinds excepting bicycles, and the City shall
extend every effort to enforce trespass laws for the protection
of property not owned by the City from vehicular travel and
encroachment.
