A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
AND FILING OF A NOTICE OF INTENT TO
FILE A COMPETING APPICATION FOR
PRELIMINARY PERMI~ FOR WATER POWER
PROJECT ON QUILCENE RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend deems itself the
proper and logical entity to develop, sell and distribute
hydroelectric power which may be developed from the flow of
the ~Big Qulicene River in Jefferson County, Washington, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, IN A REGULAR SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, WASHINGTON,
That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute and deliver to the United States of
America Federal P~ae~.t~egulatory Commission the Notice of
Intent to File a Compet&~t' Application for Preliminary
Permit for a Water Power Project on the Big Quilcene River
in Jefferson County, Washington.
