A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PARK BOARD TO NEGOTIATE
FOR THE PURCHASE OR LEASE, OR THE SECURING OF AN
OPTION ON CERTAIN LANDS OWNED BY PUBLIC UTILITY
DISTRICT NO. 1
AT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY CouNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND, IT IS RESOLVED:
The Park Board of the City is here and hereby authorized to
enter into negotiations in behalf of the City for the obtaining of
an option to purchase, for the purchase of or for the lease of
lands owned by Jefferson County Public Utility District No. 1 in
Port Townsend and adjacent to Kah Tai Lagoon, and which may be
incorporated into the Kah Tai Lagoon perimeter park, to the extent
that said lands are not acquired b~d~he adjoining owner for a
nursing care facility.
