A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH PORT TOWNSEND BRANCH OF SEATTLE-
FIRST NATIONAL BANK FOR FINANCING AN
AMBULANCE PURCHASE.
WHEREAS, the voters of the City of Port Townsend have
approved an excess levy, for collection in 1982, for the
purpose of providing additional EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES,
and
WHERkAS, in order to give immediate and proper effect
to the expressed desires of the voters as evidenced in said
excess levy approval, it is necessary that financing of an
ambulance be obtained from sources outside City departments,
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Clerk-Treasurer have
negotiated with the Port Townsend Branch of Seattle-First
National Bank for financing of said ambulance, now,
therefore, BE IT RESOLVED
That the Mayor and City Clerk-Treasurer are authorized
to enter into and execute an agreement with Port Townsend
Branch of Seattle-First National Bank for the purpose of
financing the purchase of an ambulance, from the Emergency
Medical Services funds provided by the special asessment
to be collected in 1982 for that purpose, in the sum of $2~iOD~ .
