A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE JEFFERSON COUNTY SOLID
WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN AND THE JEFFERSON COUNTY
RECYCLING PROJECT
WHEREAS, Bayshore Enterprises exists to provide vocational rehabilitation
to developmentally disabled adults, and
WHEREAS, Expanding and developing recycling appears to be a sound
investment for Bayshore Enterprises and the community, and
WHEREAS, Bayshore Enterprises has received grants through Jefferson
County from the Department of Ecology as the result of
Referendums 37 and 39 to finance a Recycling Project in
Jefferson County, and
WHEREAS, The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners by Resolution
No. 39-82 adopted April 21, 1982, has amended the Jefferson
County Solid Waste Management Plan to include the Jefferson
County Recycling Project, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PORT TOWNSEND CITY COUNCIL:
Section 1. That the City of Port Townsend endorse the
Jefferson County Solid Waste Management Plan adopted
by the County Commissioners June 18, 1973 as amended
April 21, 1982, to include the Jefferson County
Recycling Project.
Passed this 1st day of June, 1982.
