a RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH JEFFERSON
COUNTY FOR THE FORMATION OF AN EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City CounCil of the City of Port Townsend,
in regular session assembled, that:
The Mayor be and he is hereby authorized, on behalf of the
City of Port Townsend, to enter into an agreement with Jefferson
County for the formation of a joint City-County emergency
management organization, to be known as the "Jefferson County
Emergency Management Department,"under the direction and control
of an Emergency Management Council, the by-laws for which shall
be substantially in the form of the document hereunto annexed,
marked "Exhibit A," and by this reference incorporated herein the
same as though a part hereof.
