A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF THE
QUINCY STREET FERRY DOCK FACILITIES TO
THE PORT OF PORT TOWNSEND
WHEREAS, the State of Washington has transferred to the
City the dock, piling, dolphins, transfer span and other
parts of the ferry dock between Water Street and Front Street
on Quincy Street, and
WHEREAS the City does not contemplate any improvement
to the facilities, nor does it have funds therefor, and
WHEREAS, the Port of Port Townsend has offered to make
improvements to the facility which will be of benefit to the
citizens of the City and the Port District, and will improve
the waterfront of the City, now therefore, by the City Council
BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they
are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement
for the transfer of the facilities hereinabove described to the
Port of Port Townsend.
