A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
A CONTRACT FOR ANIMAL CONTROL
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that animal control
in the City may be more effectively and more economically
provided by the contracting of animal control, and
WHEREAS, the City has prior experience with both contracted
and city-provided animal control, and has determined that it is
in the interests of the citizens of the City that such services
by provided on a conttact basis, now, threfore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, in regular~ session assembled, that the Mayor and City

Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
contract with Bayshore Enterprises, a nonprofit Washing'ton
corporation, for the purpose of providing animal control services
to the City, said contract to be substantially in the form of
"Exhibit A," annexed heretor and by this reference incorporated
herein.
