RESOLUTION NO. 10-027
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, APPROVING THE 2011-2016 SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
SUBMIT THIS TO THE STATE
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the 2011-2016 Six Yeaz Transportation
Improvement Program (TIP) and held a public hearing on 19 July 2010 for public comment; and
WHEREAS, the City is required by the State of Washington Department of
Transportation to submit an approved Transportation Improvement Program by July 31 of each
year; and
WHEREAS, the TIP is primarily intended to designate federally funded and regionally
significant projects; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has established priorities for transportation improvement
projects and these aze reflected in the TIP.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign this resolution approving the Six-Yeaz
Transportation Improvement Program for 2011-2016 for submission to the State Department of
Transportation.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regulaz meeting
thereof, held this nineteenth day of July 2010.
