JOINT RESOLUTION NO.
ADOPTION OF SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, Chapter 70.95.080 Revised Code of Washington reauires
that counties incur certain duties, obligations, and responsibilities
with regard to the implementation of said chapter; and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County and the City of Port Townsend have
performed the necessary prerequisites for the establishment of a Solid
Waste Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, The Jefferson County Solid Waste Advisory Committee has
reviewed, and recommended adoption of a Solid Waste Management Plan; and
~EREAS, said Solid Waste Management Plan has been developed in
accordance with the provisions of Chapter 70.95 Revised Code of
WashingtOn and is in the interest of the citizens of Jefferson County
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this revised Jefferson
County Solid Waste Management Plan is hereby approved.
