A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A PUBLIC PARK
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
WASHINGTON
BE IT RESOLVED, that
The Mayor be and is hereby authorized and directed to enter into
the Public Park Agreement attached hereto as though fully setforth
here in behalf of the City of Port Townsend with the State of Washington
to construct and maintain a park on Harrison Street east from Water Street.

Dear Mr. Sullivan,
Enclosed is our plan for a city park located adjacent
to the new Port Townsend Ferry Terminal.
We feel that this park will be a very pleasent place
for travelers to relax while awaiting the ferry. The
park will be constructed by city employees and volunteer
laborers. The park will be maintained by the City Parks
Department.
People's Bank has offered $500.00 to assist with the
development of this park. We are hopeful that the Department
of Transportation will be able to contribute towards the
total materials cost.
We hope to begin construction as soon as the appropriate
shorelines permits have been issued (approximately 60-90 days).
