A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A THIRD ADDENDUM
TO THE GARBAGE SERVICE CONTRACT WITH
OLYMPIC DISPOSAL, INC.
WHEREAS, Section 12 of the garbage collection.contract awarded to Olympic
Disposal, Inc. by the City of Port Townsend in 1980 provides for renegotia-
tion, and
WHEREAS, Olympic Disposal has requested a rate increase of $.24 per month
per can on one, two, and three can customers served within the city, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems the request to be justified in light of the
fact that the Jefferson County Commissioners have increased rates at the
landfill, now, therefor,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND THAT:
The Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and are hereby directed to execute a
third addendum to the garbage service contract with O~m~'l~ Disposal, Inc.
establishing the fOllowing new rates to be effectiveS, 1984:
1 can on the road $3.34
2 cans on the road 5.58
3 cans on the road 7.32
