A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A POLICY RELATIVE TO
ESTABLISHING WATER DEPARTMENT POLICY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
Where a break in a water service line is detected by
comparison of water meter readings, the water bill shall be
adjusted to the consumption for the same period in the previous
year and computed at the current rate,
PROVIDED, that location and repair of the leak is immediately
initated and repair is completed within five days by>the owner, and,
PROVIDED,that this adjustment will be allowed one time on any
one service.
