A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE
A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT PERTAINING TO THE JEFFERSON
COUNTY PUD NO. l's PROPOSED HYDROELECTRIC FACILITY AND
ASSURANCES PERTAINING TO THE CITY' S WATER RIGHTS
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the Clerk of the City
of Port Townsend be and they are hereby authorized to execute
the attached Memorandum of Agreement with the Jefferson County
PUD No. 1, providing for assurances by the PUD with respect
to the City's and Port Townsend Paper Company's water system
and the City's municipal water rights, in consideration of
the City having passed and approved Resolution. No. 84-3'9.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this
6th day of November, 1984.
