A RESOLUTION OF THE PORT TOWNSEND CITY COUNCIL DESIGNATING
THE PORT TOWNSEND LEADER AS THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER FOR THE
CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend, a city of the third
class, is required by Chapter 469, Laws of 1985, for Washington,
to designate an official newspaper of general circulation which
has the qualifications set forth in Chapter 65.16, Revised Code
of Washington, for purposes including but not limited to the
publication of the City's ordinances and various legal notices, and
WHEREAS, the P~rt Townsend Leader, with offices at 226 Adams
Street, Port Townsend, Washington, is so qualified, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend does here and hereby designate the Port Townsend Leader
as the offical newspaper for the City pursuant to and for the
purposes set forth in Chapter 496, Laws of 1985, Washington.
Passed by the City Council for the City of Port Townsend
and approved by the Mayor this 20th day of August, 1985.
