A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO GRANT A
TEMPORARY LICENSE TO CROSS REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, Roderick Timber Company desires permission to temporarily
cross real property owned by the City to reach other lands lands for
logging purposes and to construct a temporary road over said land for
logging purposes, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the Clerk of the City be-and
they are hereby authorized to execute a temporary license agreement
for the use of real property, allowing Roderick Timber Company to
construct a logging road and to cross property of the City described
in said agreement, for logging purposes, for a period of twenty-four
(24) months and requiring Roderick Timber Company to pay to the City
as consideration the sum of $4,290, and at the option-of the City,
restore and reforest the land to its original condition; and to post
a performance bond in the amount of $25,000, and pursuant to the
other terms and conditions set forth in the agreement.
Passed by the City Council for the City of Port Townsend and
signed by the Mayor this 18th day of September, 1985.
