A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE PORT
TOWNSEND CIVIC TRUST
BE IT RESOLVED, that:
The Hayor be authorized and directed to enter into the
annexed CONTRACT(Mainstreet Program) with the Port Townsend Civic
Trust to retain professional staff in the amount of $2,500 each
quarter for the year of 1986.
Passed by the Port Townsend City Council on January 7, 1986.

THIS AGREEMENT, made and.entered into this ~ day of January, 1986
by and between the CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, a municipal corporation, hereinafter
called "City", and the PORT TOWNSEND CIVIC TRUST, a non-profit corporation,
hereinafter called "Trust", WITNESSETH:
As part of the Mainstreet Program for the City, the Trust agrees to
retain professional staff for the purpose of stimulating economic develop-
ment in pOrt Townsend within the context 6f historic preservation.
-For and in consideration of the above named services, the City agrees to
make four equal progress payments during the term of this agreement in the
following amounts:
Upon execution of ~his agreement, the sum of $2,500 shall be naid to the
Trust by the City.
During the next succeeding three quarters , the sum of $2,500 will be
paid at the beginning of each quarter.
It is understood and agreed-that all administrative and clerical support
for the Coordinator shall be provided by the City at the City's expense including
telephone, office space, and equipment.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties., by their authorized agents have hereunto
