A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF LOT 4, BLOCK 47,
PETTYGROVE'S SECOND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
FOR CITY PURPOSES.
Whereas, the City of Port Townsend operates a shop and
maintenance facility for its equipment and supplies, on
Redwood Street within the City of Port Townsend, and
Whereas, the City desires to purchase additional property
adjacent thereto for the purpose of expanding the faCility,
Now Therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Port Townsend, that the mayor and the city clerk be
and they are hereby authorized to execute any and all docu-
ments to purchase Lot 4, Block 47, of Pettygrove's Second
Addition to the City of Port Townsend, as per plat recorded
in Volume 2 of Plats, Page 17, records of Jefferson County,
Washington, and to pay the purchase price therefore of $3,000.00,
plus all costs of sale, said funds to come from the ~3~F~ ~ ....
..... S~4~ fund of the City of Port Townsend, and
Be It Further Resolved that the city treasurer be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to issue the city's warrant
or warrants for said amounts.
Passed by the City Council for the City of Port Townsend
on February 2, 1988, and signed by the mayor this 2nd day of
February 2, 1988.
