A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE FO A PORTION OF
HUNTINGFORD SHORT PLAT
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend operates a reservoir in
the Hadlock area which must be drained periodically for repair
and maintenance, and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase additional property
adjacent to the Hadlock reservoir for overflow and drainage
purposes,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND, that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are
hereby authorized to execute any and all documents to purchase
the property described in "Exhibit A" attached hereto as though
fully setforth herein and to pay the purchase price therefore of
$17,500, plus all costs of sale, said funds to come from the Water-
Sewer Fund of the City of Port Townsend, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk-Treasurer be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to issue the city's warrant
or warrants for said amounts.
