A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO SIGN ANY NECESSARY GRANT APPLI-
CATIONS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SECONDARY
TREATMENT FACILITY.
BE IT RESOLVED, that:
The Mayor is here and hereby authorized and directed to
execute the annexed AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE CENTENNIAL CLEAN
WATER FUND REFERENDUM 39 GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN STATE OF
WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY AND CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
GRANT NO. WFG 87-032 to update the Port Townsend Secondary
wastewater treatment plant engineering report to an approvable
facility plan and adjusting the Total Eligible Cost from
$123,820 to $170,048 as well as any necessary grant applications
with the Department of Ecology for the construction of the
secondary treatment facility.
