A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO CONTRACT WITH STEPHEN DI JULIO
FOR SPECIAL LEGAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the city of Port Townsend has been requested to appear
before the Public Employment Relations Commission over a dispute
with Teamsters Local No. 589, and,
WHEREAS, The Washington Cities Insurance Authority has agreed
to split the cost of defense of this issue given that part of
this effort benefits any liability defense which may ensue, and,
WHEREAS, the firm of Foster, Pepper, and Shefelman represented by
Stephen Di Julio, attorney-at-law, is willing to provide legal
services in connection with charges that have been filed by Kathy
Mac Donald and the Teamsters union against the City of Port
Townsend,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that:
The Mayor is here and hereby authorized and directed to contract
with Stephen Di Julio for special legal services.
PASSED by the Port Townsend City Council on June 21, 1988.
