A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH TEAMSTERS UNION
LOCAL NO. 589 AND KATHLEEN M. MacDONALD.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend has reached settlement of Case
No. 07442-U-88-01548 and Case No. 07389-C-00393 before the Public
Employment Relations Commission by agreement with Teamsters Union
Local No. 589 and Kathleen M. MacDonald, Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
that the mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement
substantially in the form of Exhibit A, attached hereto, for the
purpose of resolving the above-referenced matter in the spirit of
cooperation, and in the best interests of the union, the employee
and the city.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and
approved by the Mayor this First day of November, 1988.
